We are centrally located amid the 9 ski mountains of the Dachstein-Tauern region and the "Schneebärland/Snow Bear Country" (Planneralm Tauplitzalm). The choice is yours! ‘Höchsten Genuss’ (supreme pleasure) offers you the Dachstein glacier (2,700 m) with the most beautiful ski tour of all: crossing the Dachstein glacier to Hallstatt.
In the enchanting winter landscape you will find rest and relaxation in cross-country skiing (480 km of trails), romantic sledding, snowshoeing, ice skating or horse-drawn sleigh rides.

No, you haven’t misread this! We have converted our barn according to the latest eco-construction standards and installed 5 charming suites for you to choose from.
All suites are equipped with a shower, toilet, radio, telephone and television. Some also have a sofa-bed, foyer, kitchen and balcony and can accommodate 2 – 6 guests.
Junior suites in Alpine country designer style
Spacious junior suites are housed in their own building in the garden. Designed and implemented by the hosts, this modern complex was meant especially to fully satisfy the requirements of our long-term guests. Another reason for the extension was the need for rooms with increased comfort and generous space. All rooms face south with a beautiful terrace in the garden and mountain views.
Wellness- sauna, solarium and steam bath
Leave the day behind, relax in our wellness area with Finnish sauna, solarium and soothing steam bath. Additionally, you can obtain from us a discounted entry voucher to the new Grimming thermal spa in Bad Mitterndorf.
Food and Refreshments
Located in the "old Guest House" main building, our restaurant is loved by many in the region. There you can delight and pamper your taste buds. Whether it’s local specialties, gourmet menus, vegetarian or seasonal specialties, our cuisine is very popular with our guests.
